Selected as a co-host out of dozens of applicants for a weekly half-hour show “Bottom of the Sixth,'' as well as a host for pregame, halftime, and postgame shows for ASU football games. Outside of hosting, I’ve called ASU football and men’s basketball and have helped promote Blaze Radio through tabling and interacting with current and future members.
-
Host of the specialty show “How-To Sports” every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. where I interview professionals in the sports media industry for top-notch advice, insight, and honesty to help listeners break into the industry. My responsibilities include booking/finding in-studio guests week-to-week, creating clips/daily content, and finding students to ask questions during the live shows.
-
Work on digital content for ArizonaSports.com, covering the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, and other relevant sports stories.
Help with behind-the-scenes work for daily radio talk shows. My responsibilities include cutting podcast hours and interviews and occasionally running the board for the shows.
-
Assigned different daily sports stories to write voiceovers (VOs) and clip sound on tapes (SOTs) for that run on the nightly sports show "The Extra Point."
Once a week, I'm given the opportunity to anchor "The Extra Point" show from top to bottom as a practice run.
Shoot, cut, and edit highlights ranging from high school sports to professional sports all across the valley. Every Friday night, I shoot high school football.
